N2 is where Japanese gets real. You're past the basics, past the survival phrases. Now you’re reading newspapers, understanding business conversations, and parsing literary structures. The grammar at this level expresses nuance — subtle differences in certainty, formality, and speaker attitude.

Category 1: Conjunctions & Reasoning

Tip: ~以上は and ~からには are near-synonyms. The difference: ~からには carries stronger personal determination.

Category 3: Contrast & Concession
